Sander led several of the largest Canadian mining M&A mandates including in 2014, the $3.9 billion alternative transaction response of Osisko Mining to the C$2.9-billion Goldcorp hostile offer; in 2011, the $4.9 billion sale of Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Limited to Cliffs, and in 2010, the $3.6 billion sale of Andean Resources Limited to Goldcorp.
