Kolter Property Company, through an affiliated corporation, acquired 4 King Street West, Toronto from MetLife for $39 million in June, 2000. The 287,000 square foot office building is connected to the PATH pedestrian network and has two technology companies as key tenants. Acting for Kolter in the transaction were Stephen Belgue and Jeff Shore of Goodman Phillips & Vineberg. MetLife’s counsel were James Hilton, David O’Brien and John Hutmacher of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP.
