On May 8, 2008, OMERS Realty Corporation, a direct wholly owned real estate subsidiary of OMERS Administration Corporation, completed an offering of AAA-rated $400 million Series C Debentures and $200 million Series D Debentures. The Series C Debentures and the Series D Debentures were both offered on a private placement basis in Canada and are unconditionally guaranteed by OMERS Administration Corporation. The Debentures were placed by a syndicate of agents led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and included BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., TD Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., and Scotia Capital Inc.
OMERS Realty Corporation was advised by In-House Counsel Paul Kennedy and OMERS Administration Corporation was advised by In-House Counsel Walter Lehman.
