Barrick Gold Corporation completed a public offering of debt securities on March 24, 2009, consisting of US$750 million aggregate principal amount of 6.950 per cent notes due 2019. The notes were offered by a syndicate of underwriters led by Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc.
