Bema Gold Lists on Aim

On September 30, 2003, Canadian gold mining company Bema Gold Corp. became the second largest company to list on AIM when its common shares were admitted to trading under the BAU symbol. In connection with the AIM listing, Canaccord Capital (Europe) Ltd. was appointed the company’s nomad and broker.

Bema Gold’s legal team was headed by Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Canada, with a team that included Rod McKeen and Cyndi Laval in Vancouver; and in the UK by Charles Russell in London, with a team led by Clive Hopewell, and included Adrian Mayer and Dominic Keenan.

Canaccord was represented in Canada and in the UK by Stikeman Elliott LLP, with a team that included Derek Linfield, Jeffrey Keey and Maureen Tai in London.
