Brascan Bridge Completes Credit Facility

On September 7, 2004, Brascan Bridge Lending Fund provided a $250 million multi-tranche term loan and working capital facility for the Atlas Cold Storage companies. The loan was used to repay a syndicate of bank lenders and to provide for the ongoing working capital needs of the companies. The Brascan facilities are secured on all real and personal property of Atlas, which comprises more than 50 properties across Canada and the US.

Brascan Bridge Lending Fund was represented by Torys, with a team in Toronto that included Jonathan Weisz, Scott Kraag, Nadine Rockman, Alison Lacy, Jane Helmstadter, Conrad Sheppard, Katharine Alexander-Carew, Michael Fortier and other special advisors, and Gary Litke, Alana Tolhurst, Carl Walker and other special advisors in New York.
