Brookfield Issues $500M of Medium Term Notes

Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (Brookfield) completed its previously announced offering of $500-million aggregate principal amount of 4.825 per cent medium term notes with a January 2026 maturity.

The notes were offered through a syndicate of agents co-led by CIBC World Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (Canada), Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., and RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and included Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., and National Bank Financial Inc.

Brookfield was represented by an in-house team led by A.J. Silber. Torys LLP provided external support with a team of Adam Armstrong, Jonathan Cescon, Josh Lavine and David Forrester (corporate and securities).

The agents were represented by Lawrence Chernin, Bill Gorman, Geoff Cowper-Smith and David Wallace (corporate and securities) from Goodmans LLP.
