CanWest Media Refinances Debt

CanWest Media Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CanWest Global Communications Corp., refinanced $940 million of existing senior bank debt with a syndicate of lenders, led by The Bank of Nova Scotia as administrative agent. The deal closed on August 29, 2003.
