Darlene Scott received the honorary designation of Queen’s Counsel in January 2016. She is a partner in the Edmonton office of Dentons Canada LLP, where she served as chair of the Edmonton financial services group for more than 10 years. She acts for banks and other financial institutions in secure lending transactions as well as for developers and other members of the real estate industry. Scott has been a bencher of the Law Society of Alberta since 2014, and on its executive committee since 2015.
