Ernst & Young LLP Leases Top Floors of New Oxford Building

Oxford Properties Group announced that Ernst & Young LLP will be the lead tenant of Oxford Properties' new development being constructed at 100 Adelaide Street West, between Bay and York Streets, in Toronto's downtown financial core. This is Ernst & Young's largest lease transaction in Canada over the last 20-plus years.

The new tower, to be known as the EY Tower, is scheduled for completion by June 2017, and once completed will be certified LEED Platinum and consist of 40 storeys with a total area of approximately 900,000 square feet. No additional terms of the lease were disclosed.

The tenant was represented by Max Maréchaux of Miller Thomson LLP, Doris Stamml and Robb MacMillan of Ernst & Young LLP; and the landlord was represented by Abraham Costin of McCarthy Tétrault LLP, and Nancy Prenevost of Oxford Properties Group.
