Genworth MI Canada Inc. completed its offering of $160-million aggregate principal amount of 4.242 per cent senior unsecured debentures due Apr. 1, 2024.
The offering was made through a syndicate of agents led by Scotia Capital Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., and TD Securities Inc., and included National Bank Financial Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc. and Casgrain & Company Limited.
The net proceeds from the offering were used by Genworth Canada primarily to reduce existing indebtedness.
