Government of Canada Purchases Scotia Centre's Galleria in Regina

The Bank of Nova Scotia sold Scotia Centre’s Galleria in Regina, a 170,000 square foot mixed-use development, to the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada. The deal closed on March 12, 2002 and the value is undisclosed.
The government was represented by Dale Kohlenberg of the Department of Justice, Saskatoon. Rod Seyffert and Simon Crawford of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Toronto advised the bank, with the assistance of John Dipple and Michael Harmel of MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP.
