GT Group Telecom Inc.

On February 1, 2000, GT Group Telecom Inc. (GT), a national facilities-based, broadband provider of Internet protocol-based services, high-speed data and voice services to businesses in Canada, completed a private placement of Units consisting of US$855 million of 13.25 per cent Senior Discount Notes Due 2010, and 855,000 Warrants to Purchase 4,198,563 Class B Non-Voting Shares. The offering was led by Goldman, Sachs & Co. and included syndicate members CIBC World Markets, Credit Suisse First Boston, RBC Dominion Securities Corporation, Scotia Capital and TD Securities.
