Hunt Completes Disposition To Harvest

On February 28, 2011, Hunt Oil Company (“Hunt”) completed the indirect sale of its Canadian oil and natural gas assets to Harvest Operations Corp. (“Harvest”) for a base purchase price of $525 million.

Hunt was represented in-house by its legal team, led by Mark Gunnin, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and Jerry Bendo, Assistant General Counsel, and by Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP with a team that included Chris Christopher and Melissa Zerebeski (oil and gas and corporate/commercial); Edward Rowe and Carrie Aiken Bereti (tax); Maxwell Brunette (employment) and Julie Soloway (competition).

Harvest was represented by Mark Smith of Mark R.
