Isabelle Briand now a partner at Lavery

Isabelle Briand is now a partner at Lavery where she focuses her practice on criminal matters as part of the firm’s administrative law group. (Lavery incorporates criminal lawyers into its multidisciplinary team — the only major firm in Québec to do so.) Briand has successfully argued numerous complex cases related to economic crimes and corruption. She has worked as a prosecutor for 15 years, most recently as chief prosecutor for the Bureau de lutte à la corruption et à la malversation(BLCM), which is an organization that she helped to create.
