McCarthy Tétrault is advising JCI Gold Limited on the proposed merger and redomiciling to Canada of 8 South African gold mining companies under the JCI name. The transaction will create the 3rd largest gold mining stock on the TSE and the world’s 9th largest gold producer (67m/oz of reserves, 1.3m oz of annual production, estimated market cap of 650m US).
