Perseis Publishing Adds Gaétan Morin Éditeur to its Operations

Montreal-based Perseis Publishing Inc., a publisher of educational resources, added Gaétan Morin Éditeur (GME) and Publications Graficor (PG) to its existing operations. GME and PG are university and school textbooks publishers, respectively. The deal closed on April 1, 2003, and the founder of GME, Gaëtan Morin, became a Perseis shareholder. All deal amounts are confidential.

Perseis Publishing was represented by Stikeman Elliott LLP, with a team that included John Leopold, Michel Gélinas, Alix d'Anglejan-Chatillon, Howard Liebman and Jason Streicher (corporate), Robert Hogan and Derek Chiasson (tax), Mirko Bibic (intellectual property), Paul Collins (regulatory) and Hélène Bussières (employment).
