Red Back Mining Closes $165M Public Offering

Red Back Mining Inc. completed a bought deal public offering on February 12, 2009 of 22,000,000 common shares at a price of $7.50 per share for gross proceeds of $165 million. Red Back owns and operates the Chirano Gold Mine in Ghana and the Tasiast Gold Mine in Mauritania.
