Rogers Wireless Amends and Extends Financing Arrangements in April 2001

On April 12, 2001, Rogers Wireless Communications Inc. amended and extended its financing arrangements with a syndicate of Canadian banks, for which The Bank of Nova Scotia acts as administrative agent. The banks agreed to provide a revolving reducing secured term loan in the principal amount of $700 million. This financing facility will assist Rogers Wireless in the continuing development of its business activities.

The bank syndicate was represented by James Mathers and Joanne Foot of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Rogers Wireless was represented by a Torys team that included John McIninch and John Toffoletto.
