Seagate Technology Completes Indirect Acquisition Of EVault

Seagate Technology completed the indirect acquisition of privately held EVault, Inc. in a cash transaction on January 26, 2007 valued at approximately US$185 million.
The Seagate Technology group of companies designs, manufactures and markets hard disk drives, providing products for a wide range of enterprise, desktop, mobile computing and consumer electronics applications.

Seagate Technology and other affiliated entities were represented by Heller Ehrman LLP in the United States and Stikeman Elliott LLP in Canada.
