Search Energy Reorganizes

Search Energy Corp. was successfully reorganized on May 24, 2001 into an income trust structure to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantage Energy Income Fund. Advantage Energy Income Fund has entered into a management and advisory services agreement with Advantage Investment Management Ltd., a company whose directors and officers represent some of Canada’s most experienced income trust managers. The transaction was worth close to $180 million.
