On February 21, 2002, SITQ Immobilier, a subsidiary of CDP Group (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), sold to an affiliate of the E1-Ad Group a portfolio of 25 industrial properties in Montreal. The total amount of the transaction is undisclosed.
E1-Ad was represented by Ninon Cadieux of Cadieux, Cadieux. Rémi Gagnon, vice-president and special counsel, SITQ, recruited the Montreal real estate group of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP to assist in the transaction, along with in-house counsel Caroline Lévesque. Claude Gendron of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin led the group, and teamed up with Lise Rochette and Katherine Tremblay to handle the transaction, including notification to the Competition Bureau.
