TD Bank Issues $500 Million of Medium Term Notes

On April 2, 2008, The Toronto-Dominion Bank completed an offering of $500 million of 5.48 per cent medium term notes (subordinated indebtedness) due April 2, 2020. This public offering was completed by a syndicate of dealers led by TD Securities Inc. and included BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities Canada Inc. and Brookfield Financial Corp.
