Menkes will develop the $120 million Transamerica Office Complex, a 540,000 square foot office building. Construction is projected to commence in the spring of 2002. Menkes 5000 Yonge Developments Ltd. was represented by Goodmans LLP with a team led by Stephen Belgue and assisted by Luc Bourque (real estate), Jay Feldman and Laurel Vanderjagt (corporate) and Catherine Lyons (municipal). Jules Mikelberg of Goodman and Carr LLP and Adam Brown of Brown Dryer Karol also assisted Menkes in this transaction (land severance and other municipal matters).
