Ben V. Hanuka is a partner at Davis Moldaver LLP, a Toronto litigation boutique. Ben's litigation practice focuses on commercial, franchise, debtor-creditor, real estate and professional negligence disputes and their resolution. In the franchise litigation area, Ben regularly represents franchisors and franchisees in a variety of disputes, including group and class actions. Ben has acted as counsel in significant court decisions under Ontario’s franchise legislation and has written and spoken extensively on franchise disputes, as well as general litigation issues. He is past chair of OBA’s Civil Litigation Section, founding chair of the OBA Joint Subcommittee on Franchising, and past instructor at the Ontario Bar admission course (civil litigation).
