She regularly acts on both public and private offerings of equity and debt securities in Canada and frequently acts on behalf of Canadian issuers in connection with cross-border securities offerings into jurisdictions such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Represents both national and international clients in various industries, with a particular focus on the financial services, real estate, and technology sectors. Recipient of the 2017 Lexology Client Choice Award for Capital Markets, Ontario. She is also a faculty member of The Directors College, a university-accredited corporate director education program, and an instructor for the advanced securities law programs offered by the University of Western Ontario and University of Windsor law schools. Northland Power Holdings Inc. and related shareholders completed a secondary offering, including an over-allotment option, consisting of 36,938,000 common shares of Northland Power Inc. at a price of $23.35 per common share
Northland Power Inc. completed an offering of $150-million aggregate principal amount of 4.75 per cent convertible unsecured subordinated debentures, Series C. The underwriters exercised their over-allotment option in respect of the offering, bringing the total proceeds for the offering to $157.5 million.
EnerCare Inc. and EnerCare Solutions Inc. announced on July 24, 2014, that they entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement with Direct Energy Marketing Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Centrica plc, to purchase Direct Energy's Ontario home and small commercial services (OHCS) business for a purchase price of $550 million.
