Partner and Montréal regional leader of BLG’s Class Actions Group. Defends corporate clients in class actions suits on matters of product liability, telecommunications, insurance, securities litigation, pension funds, professional liability, consumer law, defamation and Charter of Rights. Has also represented the appellant on the plaintiff side before the Supreme Court of Canada in 2009 in two class action suits seeking the reimbursement of municipal taxes. In December 2008, obtained from the Québec Court of Appeal first and only dismissal in Québec on a summary motion of an authorized class action. Author of many publications on class actions regularly cited by Québec Courts and often called upon to speak at major Canadian class action conferences. Guest lecturer at McGill University Law School and Concordia University's John Molson School of Business. Founder and former president of the Canadian Bar Association class action section, Québec Division. Chair of subcommittee on the Superior Court rules of practice, Québec Bar Advisory Committee on Class Actions. Recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2016 and Benchmark Canada.
