Year called to the Bar: 1989. Partner and co-founder of the firm, Daniel has a great deal of experience in civil and commercial litigation as well as in class actions. As a trial lawyer, he appears regularly before the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. He argued successfully before the Supreme Court of Canada a case regarding a class action dealing with competition law. This case resulted in a very important judgment regarding the authorization of class actions, private international law as well as in competition and consumer law. This judgment was quoted in the Lexpert® Top Ten Cases of 2013. Daniel is a member of the Québec Bar Committee on class actions, as well as a member of the National Task Force on class actions of the Canadian Bar Association. He has been selected by his peers as a litigation star in Benchmark Canada (since its inaugural edition) and in The Best Lawyers in Canada (since 2006).
