Dan Fournier is a Partner in the Calgary office, having returned from the Middle East where he served as Chair of our offices in the Gulf Region. Dan will continue to advise our international clients on matters involving the Middle East and will continue his practice as a member of our energy financial services practice. Dan has advised on the structuring of numerous private and public financings in the development of Canada's energy industry. His expertise also extends to structuring joint ventures between major energy participants and advising on shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements and corporate governance matters. Dan has served as a member of the Firm's Executive Committee, the Firm's Partnership Committee, the Compensation Committee and as co-Chair of the Finance Committee. He was also the Managing Partner of our Calgary office. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Canada-Arab Business Council.
