Joseph Grignano is a partner who practises commercial leasing law at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Acts for several prominent Canadian and foreign owners, developers and tenants focusing on retail, office, industrial and specialty (e.g., solar/wind farm and credit tenant) leases. Has worked on numerous transactions that have been recognized by the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP) as "deals of the year." Has also worked on transactions that have been reported as the largest commercial lease transactions in the City of Toronto for the year in which they were completed. A past member of the board of editors for the Retail Law Strategist and has authored several articles that have appeared in other publications (local, national and international). Frequent lecturer at real estate seminars, including the annual law conference of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) and the annual RealLeasing conference. Past co-Chair of the Planning Committee for ICSC’s annual law conference in Toronto and a past member of the Planning Committee for the ICSC’s Next Generation.
