Sandy Carpenter is consistently recognized as one of the leading energy, regulatory and Aboriginal lawyers in Canada. He prides himself on excellence and being able to deliver successful and timely results that integrate both legal and non-legal considerations. While a significant portion of Sandy’s practice involves major energy and mining project developments, he is also regularly asked to work on utilities regulation matters, environmental matters and injunction proceedings. Sandy contributes to the legal and business community by writing and speaking on a variety of topics and he is a past president and ongoing supporter of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation. Sandy was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1986 and the Alberta Bar in 1997.
