Practises in the areas of corporate tax planning and tax litigation for both private and public corporations. Provides advice in the context of domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, transfer pricing and general tax planning. Also involved in representing clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial taxation authorities. Has written and lectured extensively on tax matters for the Continuing Legal Education Society, the Canadian Tax Foundation and others. Past Governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and former Chairperson of the tax subsection of the British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. Admitted to British Columbia Bar in 1987.
