Andrew Harrison is a partner in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He is the national leader of the Firm's Pension and Benefits Group. Andrew has a financial services and commercial practice, with a focus on pension and benefits law. Andrew has advised many different participants in pension and benefit arrangements, including plan administrators, employers, boards of directors, trustees, insurance companies, investment managers and plan beneficiaries. Andrew has experience in a wide range of legal and practical issues relating to pension and benefit plans, including plan design, plan administration, investments and funding, plan restructuring and corporate transactions. Andrew is an active participant in pension industry groups, and in advocacy on law reform in the pension, benefits and investment fields. Andrew is experienced in leading teams of lawyers in executing complex transactions. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1989.
