Partner and member of BLG’s Labour and Employment Group. Practises both management labour relations law and employment law in a broad range of areas and has done so since 1981. Labour relations practice includes appearances before labour relations boards and boards of arbitration, as well as collective agreement negotiations. Employment law practice includes wrongful dismissal litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as mediated/arbitrated resolution. Extensive experience with fiduciary duty, non-competition and non-solicitation litigation and with human rights litigation. Frequently delivers papers on topics relating to employment and labour relations law. Contributing editor to Halpern (Ed.), Advising the Family-Owned Business. Graduated from Harvard University (summa cum laude) and received LLB from the University of Toronto.
