Regularly advises general contractors, sureties, owners, architects and engineers on construction matters, including drafting of call for tenders, construction contracts (design build, project management, BOT, PPP) and construction claims (extras, loss of productivity, change in design or methods of performance of the work). Involved in large and complex construction matters and work-outs resulting from contractor’s default and insolvency situations. Represents manufacturers in product liability matters. Also specializes in matters of fidelity insurance and commercial fraud. Regular lecturer at professional and industry related seminars. Civil law degree from the Sherbrooke University (1989), and Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University (1986). Called to the Québec Bar in 1990. Regional managing partner of BLG’s Montréal office.
