Philipp Duffy focuses his practice on the areas of real estate and infrastructure. His real estate expertise extends to project development, acquisitions and divestitures both of discrete assets and portfolios of assets, land assembly, financing and leasing matters across a wide range of asset classes, including industrial, office, hospitality, single-tenant build-to-suit, residential condominiums and retail properties. Mr. Duffy acts for a wide variety of market participants, including developers, builders, project owners, managers, investors and sponsors in a broad range of real estate and infrastructure-related matters. He has been involved in many major projects which have shaped and continue to shape the face of the Montréal Metropolitan Area, including Bell Canada’s Nun’s Island Campus, the CHUM Research Centre, both phases of the Tour des Canadiens projects, and, most recently, the Turcot interchange project. He is frequently called upon for his ability to elaborate creative business structures and solutions to achieve the particular business objectives of the client. Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, he is known as a facilitator of transactions among both clients and their public and private counterparts.
