Managing Partner of the Calgary office. Heather’s practice is focused on civil litigation and dispute resolution with an emphasis on energy, Aboriginal, constitutional, corporate commercial, employment/human rights, transportation and aviation disputes. She acts for clients in complex litigation and disputes, and has extensive experience in negotiations and mediations. She has acted on numerous oil and gas disputes and provides advice on a significant number of issues involving Aboriginal matters. She has appeared before all levels of courts in Alberta, the Federal Court and various tribunals. She is the past Chair of the Aboriginal and Constitutional Law sections of the CBA (Southern Alberta Branch). Heather is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the IBA. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1990 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 2012.
