André Durocher practises in the areas of class actions, environmental law, energy law and Aboriginal law. He has represented clients in class proceedings in the substantive areas of environmental law, Aboriginal law, pension plans, consumer protection, competition, product liability and municipal, pharmaceutical, food and sports law. He has acted for pharmaceutical companies, railways, airlines, chemical industries, rendering plants, chicken processing plants, municipal corporations and sports organizations. André pleaded before every level of the courts including the Supreme Court of Canada. He has represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Québec Energy Board, the Agricultural Land Protection Board, the Access to Information Commission and other boards and agencies. André co-authored the class action section of the annotated Code of Civil Procedure published by LexisNexis. He also co-authored of a fascicule on authorizations to institute a class action in the second compilation on civil procedure in JurisClasseur Québec. He was called to the Québec Bar in 1975.
