Acts for both public and private companies in a range of transactions, including financings, fund formation, initial public offerings, regulatory matters and divestitures. Represented Vincor International Inc., from its initial acquisition by a consortium in 1992 to its sale to Constellation Brands, Inc., in 2006. Acts as Canadian counsel for international clients, such as Amdocs Limited, in their Canadian initiatives and acts for a number of private equity firms including Clairvest, ONCAP and EdgeStone in their investments. Also represents the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in their commitments to private equity firms worldwide. Has advised on a number of real estate investment trust and income fund offerings such as H&R REIT, RioCan REIT, Altus Group Limited, Associated Brands Income Fund, BFI Canada Income Fund, Richards Packaging Income Fund and Gienow Windows & Doors Income Fund. Has spoken at a number of conferences on securities law and corporate governance matters.
