Sandra is a trial lawyer, practising in civil and commercial litigation. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation disputes, class action defence, product liability and professional liability claims. Sandra has represented clients before all levels of courts and in private arbitrations, in local and in multijurisdictional disputes. In so doing, Sandra works closely with clients and counsel in the US and throughout Canada to develop cogent, cost-effective litigation strategies. Sandra has been ranked by several publications as a top class action litigator and as a top commercial litigator. Sandra is also a sought-after instructor and lecturer in Canada and the United States in the area of trial advocacy. In that capacity, she has trained and taught trial and appellate skills to junior and senior lawyers. Sandra is currently an instructor for the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop, Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, a visiting instructor at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana, and regularly trains lawyers for The Advocates' Society.
