Jack F. Fitch is counsel to Hughes Amys LLP where he articled and practised since his call to the Bar in 1980 for many years as as one of the senior partners of the firm. He has been certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation since 1993. He practises insurance defence litigation, including personal injury, personal and commercial property, Products liability, professional negligence and coverage and duty to defend cases. Jack is also an experienced estate and commercial litigator and has appeared in matters at all levels of courts in Ontario, in the Superior Court Trial Division in the province of Nova Scotia and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before many boards and tribunals. Jack frequently speaks at continuing education programs, having spoken about the law of host liability, liability of brokers and practice and procedure. He has been frequently invited to participate in the Canadian Institute's annual Institutional Liability for Abuse and Sexual Assault.
