Amy Chao is counsel in the financial products and services group. Her practice mainly focuses on the areas of investment management and the representation of asset managers and other financial services providers in the formation and structuring of private equity and other private investment fund vehicles, as well as advising on a variety of securities matters, compliance and regulatory matters, and Canadian anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulation. She also represents pension plans and other institutional investors in connection with their investments in various funds and pooled investment vehicles, including managed accounts.
