Partner in the firm’s Toronto office and a member of McCarthy Tétrault’s governing board of partners. Has extensive experience in project development, public-private partnerships (PPP), public procurement, real estate, leasing, and construction matters. Representative transactions include: co-lead counsel on the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games athletes’ village PPP, design build finance maintain (DBFM) project and the Ontario 2015 Pan Am Games Bid Corporation; co-lead counsel on PPP transactions for eight hospital build finance projects and five DBFM projects; lead counsel for an international hotel company on the sale of seven landmark Canadian hotels; and was lead counsel for large scale development projects for York University (one of Canada's largest universities) including the extension of a subway line. Featured in Lexpert® magazine and the National Post in 2003 as one of 15 up and coming women lawyers in Canada. Listed in Euromoney Legal Media Group's 2009 and 2010 Guide to the World's Leading Real Estate Lawyers and the 2010 Guide to the World’s Leading Women in Business Law. Has served as a panellist and speaker at various industry seminars. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1985.
