Mr. Mahoney practises labour and employment law, providing advice to employers in collective bargaining, occupational health and safety and labour relations. He serves as employer counsel before administrative proceedings including arbitration, labour relations boards and human rights. He represents employers in mining, oil & gas, and industrial and construction. He is Senior Vice Chair with the St. John’s Board of Trade, a member of the Advisory Committee for the Centre for Law in a Contemporary Workplace at Queen’s University and co-Chair for the Canadian Association of Counsel for Employers Conference in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2012. He is a member of the CBA and LSNL, and was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1994.
