Max Mendelsohn has practised for many years in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group in McMillan’s Montréal Office. His practice is concentrated in areas of advising commercial enterprises, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. In addition to his primary areas of practice, Max acts as a formal and informal mediator, and arbitrator with respect to commercial disputes, advises commercial enterprises and has also sat on the boards of directors of corporations. He is widely renowned as a pragmatic deal-maker. He is a frequent speaker and panel participant on bankruptcy and insolvency law reform, trans-border insolvencies, bankruptcy and insolvency legislation and other topics related to banking, insolvency and receivership.
