Practises general commercial litigation, including complex commercial disputes, agriculture, construction law, Aboriginal law, and administrative law. Wendy is a member of the firm’s Aboriginal Law group, and is a national co-Chair of its Agribusiness and Food group. From 2009 to 2012, Wendy was Associate Commission Counsel to the Federal Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River (the Cohen Commission). Wendy is a frequent speaker on topics including advocacy, resolution of commercial disputes, regulated marketing, and Aboriginal law. Wendy was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2009. She is the Vice Chair of the Motor Vehicle Customer Compensation Fund Board, an Acting Registrar of the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority, a member of the Civil Resolution Tribunal and a member of the Financial Services Tribunal.
