Mr. Kenny’s practice includes civil and regulatory litigation, construction law, transportation, insurance and corporate commercial law. He has written articles and participated in seminars dealing with litigation, construction law, corporate governance, and shareholder rights. He has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, as well as numerous agencies, boards and tribunals, with a particular emphasis on arbitrations. He has also been appointed as an arbitrator in significant commercial disputes. Fellow and former Governor of the CCCL, Fellow of the ACTL and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. Member of the LSA, EBA, Alberta BA, CBA, BANWT. Past Chair of the CBA Construction Law Section for northern Alberta. Past Director of the Alberta Chamber of Resources. Past member of the LSA Insurance Committee and past member of the LSA Audit and Finance Committees and the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Alberta. Admitted to the Alberta Bar, 1974; the Northwest Territories Bar, 1982; and appointed QC, 1994.
