Reuben M. Rosenblatt, QC, LSM, was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1959. He is a partner at Minden Gross LLP and co-chair of the Real Estate Group. An award-winning lawyer and educator, Reuben’s practice focuses on complex legal issues and acts as an arbitrator and mediator of commercial disputes. Reuben is a Repeatedly Recommended lawyer in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory, and named in Best Lawyers in Canada. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School since 1977, teaching the Real Estate Transactions Course. He is a lecturer for the Ontario Bar Association, Osgoode Professional Development, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and The Law Society of Upper Canada on real estate and mortgage law. He is the first recipient of the Ontario Bar Association Award of Excellence in Real Estate (1996). Other awards include the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association Gold Key Award (2003) for his significant contribution to the law school, the profession, and society; the Osgoode Hall Law School Award of Excellence in Teaching; and the Law Society Medal (2007). Reuben has been appointed by the Ontario Superior Court to act as trustee/liquidator, independent counsel, and sales officer in the management and sale of industrial and residential portfolios.
