Partner in the Litigation Department at Osler. His practice involves the litigation and arbitration of disputes relating to construction and infrastructure projects. He also provides contract administration advice during the course of the completion of projects. Practice covers all aspects of construction law including contractual disputes, negligence claims, insurance claims, construction liens, mortgage priorities, delay claims, bidding and tendering disputes, bond claims, and construction trusts. He advises all project participants on disputes related to a broad range of construction and infrastructure projects including airport facilities, power projects (nuclear, solar, wind, natural gas, coal) highways, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, civil works facilities and subways. Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Construction Law Section and co-editor of the section’s newsletter from 2002 to 2006. Author of numerous articles concerning construction law. Speaker at professional, Law Society and OBA conferences. Certified as a Specialist in Construction Law by The Law Society of Upper Canada. Recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada and Canadian Who’s Who. Called to the Bar in 1993.
