Vincent Bergeron specializes in trademark, copyright, patent and commercial law related to intellectual property, with a special focus on the Information Technology industry. He advises clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property assets in the fields of software, mobile applications, Open Source software, gaming industry, Internet of Things (IoT), wearables, virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence. He has already published and presented more than 90 conferences and articles on emerging issues of IP and IT for multiple organizations around the world, including for the AIPF, the IPIC, the LESI and the CBA. Vincent Bergeron was recently awarded the Louis-Philippe Pigeon Award by the Québec Young Bar Association and the Raymond-Blais Medal by Laval University, as well as the title of Young Business Person of the Year in Québec City in 2015. He is actively involved in multiple associations and organizations, including as Vice-Chair of Communications for the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI)’s Young Members Congress (YMC) and as President of the Information, Telecommunication and Intellectual Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association, Québec Division, in 2016–2017. He also cofounded the crowdfunding platform La Ruche.
